Why we snoop?
When we see someone’s private possessions, we feel we have
access to something valuable, says Elyse Goldstein, Ph.D., a New York City
psychologist.
But if snooping becomes habitual, it can be a sign of
discontent with a relationship. “Chronic
snoopers believe people are hiding things from them.” Goldstein says.
