Craft Fair #2 - Spooky

Welcome back! Here is my adorable Spooky project.

I used Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White & Basic Black cardstock. Cool tools used were Petal Card Double (quantity 2) & 3/8" Corner Rounder punches & Naturally Serif Sizzlit Strip (retired).

I think I will put sticks of gum in each. I would love your suggestions.

Thanks to Patti Lee for sharing.

I don't have a product share this week, but do have lots to show you. I have been busy preparing for upcoming craft fairs.

Here I've used a basic box pattern and Early Espresso cardstock. The DSP Autumn Meadows is - retired. I've finished it off with Chocolate Chip 1-3/4" Striped Ribbon and a little tag using Tags So Much - retired with Island Indigo Classic Ink, punched out with the Extra Large Tag punch & tied with Baker's Twine.

Thank you for stopping by, please enjoy. Tomorrow I will have an adorable spooky project for you.

Welcome back to this week’s product feature.

Pretty as a Daisy

Our girly, soft, and pristine Paper Daisies (item 119243) are adorable just the way they are, straight from the package. But pull out your mad science skills, submerge them like Easter eggs in water and ink, and voilĂ —you have richly colored dimensional accents that will add frills and fun to any card or project. Crumple them up and smooth them out for a distressed look; dip the petal ends in undiluted ink for a two-toned effect; experiment with Watercolor Wonder® Crayons or stack them in contrasting colors from largest to smallest and secure them with a brad for a little pop. Play to your heart’s content, and before long you’ll have your own garden of colorful daisies—perfect for summer papercrafting fun.

Weekly Product Feature

Welcome back to my weekly product feature.  I've recently moved so have been super busy with that.  I've been unpacking and putting away like crazy!   There are 2 products this week, sort of.  Please read on.

The Big 8

August is finally here!  The stores are putting out school supplies and kids will soon be going back to school.

When I was growing up, this was the time of year when we would get new crayons as part of our school supplies.  Do you remember how pretty and perfect they looked all lined up in their new box, a box that wasn't torn or ripped when finally you were able to open them?  Can you smell them?

If you are like me you also love Stampin' Up's! color collections: the gorgeous hues, the coordination, and let’s not forget the clever names. But what about the basic eight? You know, just plain-old red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, and brown? Well, guess what?  They are ready for you today.
While they’re not all in one collection, you’ll still find the color standbys—the basic 8.

So here we (re)present, the basic eight.

Real Red
Pumpkin Pie
Daffodil Delight
Garden Green
Pacific Point
Elegant Eggplant
Basic Black
Chocolate Chip

The ones you’ve been using since you opened up your first coloring book. They’re just scattered throughout the Stampin’ Up! color collections (sometimes disguised by their fancy names). To test this point, Stampin Up recently went to a store and picked up a basic box of eight crayons, then compared the hues with ours to find these matches.

Pretty simple! So here I (re)present the basic eight.

Real Red
Pumpkin Pie
Daffodil Delight
Garden Green
Pacific Point
Elegant Eggplant
Basic Black
Chocolate Chip
