Happy Monday!  It's been a very long time since I have shared a post with you all, huh?  It's crazy busy around here and I have a one-tracked mind so it's start a project and finish it before trying to do something else.  There's been our annual stampin' retreat, a Friday night and an all-day Saturday event of sharing new products/projects from our Holiday Catalog.  I have had a class since my last post.

I've been to my first water coloring class and absolutely loved every second of those 2 hours and looking forward to the next one.

Working my ABC's today - Awaken, Blogging, Creating & Cleaning House.  I also have my workout at 5:00 pm today.  Then, it's football time.  Chiefs vs. Packers.  Go Chiefs!  Hmmm, maybe I should have posted a yellow and gold project.

Gift For A Friend

Happy Tuesday!  I'm back on my daily schedule and it feels great.   Housework, blogging and getting ready for new events.  Yay!

This past weekend was our annual stampin retreat and I have lots to share so I thought I would put them out on display for friends & customers to see.  My mini holiday event will be this Friday 3p to 7pm.  If you are in town, come & see me.

During our retreat, a friend of mine was sharing some of her favorite watercolor pins on Pinterest with us and it motivated me to reply to an email, from over a year ago, looking for a watercolor class. I heard back from the instructor today.  We had a nice conversation & I am looking forward to my 1st class tomorrow.

My project today is a very pretty gift for a friend.  The decorated clothespin was a gift from our retreat.  I knew I wanted to give it to a friend so I made a pretty card to go with it.  I hope she likes it.

I Miss You Already

I'm having hockey withdrawals!  Hockey season is here and I'm not going to be able to watch Quinn's games because and the college won't be video taping most of them.   I will have to find something else to do on Friday and Saturday nights.  I've been wanting to learn more about watercoloring so I am checking into classes for that.  I'm excited.  I hope it works out.

I've graduated from my physical therapy to a personal trainer and a 45 minute workout twice a week. It feels amazing.  Better than antidepressants!  I'm trying to document my progress and hope to be able to record it with my Project Life scrapbooking.

Today's card is so soft and pretty and a good example on how to bring a little vintage feel into your cards with a more modern stamp image.

Have a wonderful week everyone.

TFS Becky.

Good morning.  What a productive day I had yesterday!  Mopping, vacuuming, bed making, laundry, errands and more.  Did you have a nice day?  I hope so.

Today, I have a friend coming over who asked for my help in making Minion donuts (out of paper) for an upcoming birthday party.  Other than I have seen them online, heard the name and assumed they are a tv show, I don't know anything else about them.  I wouldn't mind keeping it that way either.  :)

Later I have physical therapy, so am looking forward to that.

I thought I would show you the stamp set Work of Art so that you could see all the images available in it.

The butterflies were made by using the chevron image below, stamping on Whisper White cardstock in Real Red ink then punching them out with our Bitty Butterfly & Elegant Butterfly Punches.  So cool.  Thanks to Sylvia Nelson for sharing her design.

Celebrate In Gold

Hi everyone.  Are you ready for a long weekend?  I was just reminiscing about watching the Jerry Lewis Telethon. I remember staying up all night to watch it.  It was great entertainment and for a great cause.  Thank you Jerry.

Lots of news to share today.  My niece has her first full-time job with a classroom (she is a teacher) and is so excited.  She has been waiting for this moment most of her life, I think.  I know her kids are going to love her.  My nephew is in college playing hockey now after 3 years playing in the CJHL and NAHL leagues.  They were so close to winning the Robertson Cup.   So proud of both of them.

Today I would like to celebrate the men and women who have or are serving our great country who deserve the very best from us in whatever they need to protect you and I.  We can't just sit at home and live our life without helping them and there are so many ways we can help.  Our help is desperately needed with our youth who need guidance to navigate their life knowing that they are loved and are able to give that love to others.

Thanks to Jan Farring for sharing her design.
