Happy Birthday To You

Welcome to my new class!  This month I wanted to have fun with birthdays and balloons.  I'm planning balloons galore, I can't wait to show you so I'm posting before my classes.

Here's my first project using the Birthday Bash DSP and coordinating Stamp Set.  One of my friends loves all things Heritage so I thought she would enjoy this adorable bicycle with balloons!  This little bicycle reminds me of little ones riding in parades on their bicycles all decorated with balloons and more, everyone lined up on both sides of the street, everyone having so much fun!

For this card I used the MOJO Monday Sketch 366.

Thanks For Your Order

I'm playing the CCMC343 - Sketch Challenge today!  When I play a challenge, I will frequently look over all that have been posted so far and try to make mine stand out from the others by doing something a little different.  For instance, those that have posted so far used ribbon, paper, or both and cardstock trimmed with Fringe Scissors to create the diagonal strip in this sketch.  To make mine a little different, I chose to stamp my verse on cardstock with this adorable little stamp Thanks For Your Order!  I then wanted to soften it up a bit, so I added some pretty ribbon, a few hearts and some bling!  Hope you like it.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

If you would like to leave a comment, you will find Posted by Deloris Carroll 0 comments at the end of each of my posts, click on the work comment, type your comment and you're all done!  It's just that easy.

Be Mine, Twitterpated

How pretty is this?  All four sides close up into a 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" envelope to hold my favorite 3" x 3" cards!  I wish you could touch this beautiful Gold Soiree DSP.  It is lightweight and feels so smooth and has a pretty sheen to it.  It's just yummy.

This was our last project in my Everything Envelope class.

Weekly Deals For Feb. 17 - Feb. 24

So Sweet of You

This is our second project from my Everything Envelopes class.  The card base is using Whisper White Cardstock and covered with Stacked With Love DSP and Washi Tape.  I'm loving the Washi Tape!   The coolest tool ever, the Envelope Punch Board, makes it super easy to make an adorable file folder corner and rounding the corners at the top of my card.

If you would like personal help with yours, or any other SU tool, please let me know as I would be glad to help.

Thinkng of You

Today I would like to share a project from my recent class "Everything Envelopes!"  In another class, one of the girls asked about envelopes so my projects are centered around the envelopes we have for sale and the tools we have to make our own.

I had so much fun preparing for this class that it was a good thing I had an end date, as I kept coming up with new ideas to share with them!

Since Valentine's Day was approaching I used our new Stacked With Love DSP.  I hope you enjoy.

Sending Wishes Your Way

Good morning everyone and Happy Valentines Day to you.

Today's project is my swap this month with my fellow demonstrators.  We get together once a month to share what we love and in return we share with our friends and stampers.  For the next few months our swap will be centered on a preselected stamp set.  Since there are 10+ of us, we end up with 10+ different cards!

Did you know?

Why we snoop?

When we see someone’s private possessions, we feel we have access to something valuable, says Elyse Goldstein, Ph.D., a New York City psychologist.

But if snooping becomes habitual, it can be a sign of discontent with a relationship.  “Chronic snoopers believe people are hiding things from them.”  Goldstein says.
