For You
I'm using CCMC291 sketch today. I have been using many stamp sets of late that are retired, as you may have noticed, I'm really enjoying having them around.
Colors I used on this card are Whisper White, Pool Party, Crisp Canteloup, Calypso Coral & Pistachio Pudding, the small butterflies were punched from the new Sweet Sorbet DSP.
Happy stamping to my fellow stampers and happy days to each of you. Love having you stop by and the so nice comments you've left.
Blessings
Asian Artistry For Deanna
Deanna's frame art. One of her favorite colors is purple & she has some Asian artwork so I hoped she would like this.
I did a search on Pinterest for Asian art and found a beautiful picture with these colors. To achieve the effect of the picture, I used watercoloring for the flower images here. For my third color I used a gold metallic which is so trendy right now.
I feel like an artist!
As always, thanks for stopping by.

A Gift For Sally
Recently, I was admiring this decorative paper in her stash & It just jumped out at me. I'm serious.
She was very generous & gave it to me
so I told her I would make some cards for her!
I love the colors & I really enjoyed creating with it. Thanks Sally. I used three Stampin' Up! colors Blue Bayou, So Saffron & Peach Parfait, a border from The Creative License SSK & Print Pattern In Color DSP.

Sweet Sorbet
Another card with the pretty Sweet Sorbet DSP.
The stamped images were handcut, believe it or not. I was down to
#6 out of the 8 cards my neice asked for & I felt like I had plenty of time left. :)
Other items used were Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock and ink along with Summer Starfruit & Pool Party. The Sweet Sorbet Accessory pack & Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
My apologies, I do not have the name of the original designer.
Thank You
Clean. Bold. Fun. A fun design from Mary Fish, my color inspiration was found in our big catalog on page 95.
Recipe:
Cardstock - Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo, Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi
Ink - Basic Black
Punches - 1" Square, Petite Curly Label
Thank You
We'll, here's another one. Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Bermuda Bay
& Summer Starfruit. I used the Hello, Lovely stamp set. It was a must have because of the ampersand image!
The chevron pattern was quick and easy and fun with the Chevron Border Punch, and trendy.
The ribbon is 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon.
Petal Parade
A soft palette with a pop of black. Just gorgeous!
Recipe :
Cardstock - Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink: Sahara Sand, Pool Party, Summer Starfruit
Stamps - Petal Party
Punches - Artisan Label, 3/4" Circle
Accessories - Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack
Thanks to Melissa Davies for sharing her design.
Thank You
I was inspired to recreate a design by Becky Roberts. I love the look of watercolor and this new stamp set makes it so easy to achieve!
My recipe:
Cardstock - Pistachio Pudding, Night of Navy, Whisper White
DSP - First Edition
Stamps - Happy Watercolor
Ink - Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Pistachio Pudding, Basic Black
Tools & Accessories - Scallop Circle punch, 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon in Night of Navy
Gee, Thanks
I love how my IPhone camera picked up the shiny metallic of the gold sequins! I've used the new Kalaidoscope DSP that is equally awesome for her or him. I paired it with a card base of Strawberry Slush and a Crushed Curry button made with our Simply Pressed Clay, so much fun to play with! I used the Window Labels Collection and the new Word Bubbles Framelits Dies to cut the polka dot DSP and the stamped image.
Thanks For Owl You Do
My neice recently asked me to make thank you cards for her college professors. I was thrilled that she asked!
The first card is quite modern with its color theme. I love them! Isn't the large embossed ampersand awesome? Reminds me of a David Bromstad design. He, too, is gorgeous. The sentiment was perfect in this case with the little wise owl. I added a little flower and a cute bow using white Baker's Twine for some feminine power!
Thanks to Susie Wood for sharing her design.
