A Little Wishy

Another project with Washi Tape today.  This card is for my nephew so I had to refrain from using any glitz or glamour!

I wanted to share our Core'dinations card stock with you which gives you a variation in color when you sand it.  Perfect when using embossing folders.

Thanks for stopping by.  Be safe.

You're The Best

Creating with these stamps was so much fun!  I even surprised myself.  This looks "messy" which has been difficult for me to do.  It still has a little control in the design, if that makes any sense.

The colors I used were Always Artichoke, Tangerine Tango and Crumb Cake. I don't remember the stamp name for the leaf, will look up tomorrow & add then.

Thanks for looking.

Pretty Packages

Pick bags or boxes, or both!  Our Tag a Bag Gift Boxes are an easy way to create party favors, gifts, treats.  They come in a set of 8 (each 6-7/8" x 2-1/8" x 2-1/2") with acetate sleeves.  The cost is $6.95 and easy to decorate with our Tag  a Bag Accessory Kit.  Not just for Christmas.

Wishy Washi

Having fun creating with Washi Tape, which is a decorative Japanese tape.  It is somewhat translucent and is easily removed and replaced.  Great for attaching photos or accessories.  A great & inexpensive gift.  Did I mention fun?

Stocking Stuffer #4

I'm always looking for something to take notes with.  Using little comp books, decorate with paper, die-cuts and stamps.  Adorable!

Stocking Stuffer #3

Stampin Up's Tag a Bag Gift Bags make a fun way to give a stocking stuffer.  They are 5" x 8-1/4" and come with a white ombré print.

Stocking Stuffer #2

I love using brown paper sacks in my projects!  This sack measures 3-1/2" x 5-1/2".

Add a paper doily, a banner out of decorative paper, die cut a label for a background with die-cut trees folded and glued together to make it 3-dimensional and last but not least, add the gift & close it up with ribbon & Baker's Twine!

Marshmallow Santa

Perfect fit!  I was a little concerned that it might not.  I bought the candy hoping to wrap it in the Petite Pocket Die.

I used Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla & Champagne Glimmer card-stock.  The wrap is fabric that I had here at home, a little embroidery & linen thread, punches and a framelit to add the finishing touches.

Enjoy.

"M" Is For Merry

Here is my "snipped" project for November.  We were given the Kraft Gift Box, Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon and the Tea Lace Paper Doilie.  Also the Designer Bow.   I love the way it turned out!  The pretty packaging is my favorite part of gift giving because it's my way of saying I wanted to make this extra special!

Enjoy.  If you would like more info on how to make one, please let me know.

You're Number One

I was asked by my church to make gift cards that would be attached to small bouquets of flowers to be given by our little kids to members who were 80 years old or older.  I had this adorable set called Postage Collection that I wanted to use.  I made the former for the men and the latter for the women.  Pastor, and rightfully so, asked for just one design as it would be too much for the little kids to handle so I went with the purple and gold (known for royalty) and changed the image to a vintage hot air balloon.  I forgot to get a photo, though.

For Me A Blessing

I recently reconnected with a lifelong friend.  She really lifted my spirits.  We shared and talked and talked.  It was a very blessed day.

When choosing stamps today to create with, I found "Trust God" and knew I wanted to use it.   I started with a MOJO Monday sketch, then I went through my scraps of DSP.  I chose Sycamore Street.   My stash seemed to have the right sizes I needed for a 4-1/4 x 4-1/4 card.

Enjoy

You're The Best

I fell in love with a card by Lisa Martz and wanted to recreate it!  I made a few changes & voila!  Colors are Always Artichokw, Tangerine Tango, Very Vanilla and Early Espresso.

Thanks for dropping by.

With Deepest Sympathy

I wanted a special card for a friend who recently lost her mom.  When designing cards or scrapbook pages, I like to use clusters.  Here I have the bow, heart and flower.  I couldn't resist adding the 3 little green flowers with a teeny tiny pearl in the middle.

Don't forget to stamp your envelope.

Happy paper crafting!

Hello

I I have 2 projects left to share that were for my class last month using Everything Eleanor.  Here's one of them.

DSP is Print Poetry.  Stampin' Up! offers
4-1/2" x 6-1/2" pads of DSP perfect for cards.  The current Season of Style is $6.95 with 48 sheets 24 each of 2 double-sided designs.

The card base is Strawberry Slush & I also used a little Crumb Cake strip embossed using Delicate Designs.

The Hello stamp is from Posy Punch, one of my faves.

Thanks for dropping in!

Something Pretty

It's been a difficult few months but I'm still here.  The project I have today was inspired by one on Pinterest.  I have not been able to find the person to  give credit to.  My apologies.

As usual, the colors spoke to me, Island Indigo,  Summer Starfruit, Whisper White and Crumb Cake.

I really like the Delicate Lace tape.  The name says it all.

Thanks for stopping by.

Everything Eleanor

It's been a difficult few months, but I'm back.  I'm preparing a class using this oh so pretty stamp set.  Enjoy & create!

The colors used are Cajun Craze, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Old Olive.  First Edition DSP adds a vintage feel to go along with the stamped images.

Fun In The Summertime

Scrapbooking Sunday - so much fun!  This is my oh so cute little cousin and her friend.  Picking out colors from the photo I knew I wanted a bright yellow background so I chose Daffodil Delight.  I also wanted the coolness of the blue water to come through so I went looking through my DSP and found the Just Add Cake.  It had a softer yellow in So Saffron and Baja Breeze blue would work.  This pattern with it's bubbles was perfect for my water theme.  Next, I chose the stamps and ink color.  I absolutely love how it all came together!  I can't stop looking at it!

The Wild Wasabi tag and Pumpkin Pie bracket were made with the Modern Label punch.

Don't Fly Away

I used Island Indigo card stock with Gold Encore ink & Clear embossing powder to achieve this striking card.  The butterflies were stamped on Pool Party card stock with the same ink and powder.

Thanks for stopping by.  If you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or my designs, please let me know.  I am happy to help.

Thinking of You

My friend Kathy came over yesterday - we spent the afternoon talking, creating and had a great time!  This is the project she brought for us to do.  I love the colors, stamp set and paper bow!  Thanks Kathy!

A Peach of a Cupcake

Do you wonder at our ability to change, seemingly seamless, as things around us change?  It's like a fleeting thought we have to make that decision to go with the flow.  For example, new clothing styles or redecorating because you saw something at your friend's you liked.  The decision seems so easy.  Then we have those changes that we just won't budge on or products that we have used for decades & now are no longer available to us & we complain like crazy.  At that point we become "one of those who don't like change."   Hmmm.    Just some food for thought as this week ends and start a new one.

God's rich blessings to each of you.

Happy birthday Denise.

Vintage Cupcake

When I begin a card, most of the time I reach for my scraps.  I'm so proud of myself.  I'll try to post a picture of my scrappy organizer this week.

A month or so ago I challenged myself to make June & July birthday cards using the Create a Cupcake stamp set and/or punch.  These are my last 2 for July.  I do recommend it for a time saver and getting the most out of your stamps.

I think I will goodbye to this set for now!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  If you would like to see something specific, please let me know.  I love challenges.

Best Wishes

Raspberry Ripple & Summer Starfruit color combo!  Striking, don't you think?
I used the Print Poetry DSP pack - the sheets were 4-1/2 x 6-1/2 so I had to decide how I was going to size it for my card.  I love how it turned out!  I used the Framelits Dies Apothecary Accents & Ovals & the Large Oval Punch.

You Make Me Smile

Have you found that when you are quite upset, creating or just keeping busy, helps to pass the time till the problem itself has been resolved or you come to terms with it.  It's hard to believe there are so many people that do not have the benefit of this knowledge. I'm counting my blessings.

I hope you enjoy my card today.

I've used CrispCantaloup, Early Espresso & Very Vanilla CS, Soho Subway DSP, Window Frames & Itty Bitty Banner Framelits, Artisan Label & 7/8" Scalloped Circle Punches.

Soho Subway

New!  I love this card.  The colors have a romantic feel to them & of course the vintage accessories and embossing folder are a perfect compliment.

Pretty Cupcake

I ran across a similar card by Kasia Jackson this morning & it reminded  me that I have been wanting to create banners using different punches.  I started with  the new Artisan Label but was too big, then I went with the 1-1/4" Scallop Circle.  I like how it turned out.

Happy Belated Birthday Cyndi.

Bring On The Cake

I found this card on Pinterest by Shari Caspers.  The DSP is Twitterpated.  I was never quite sure if I liked this paper in that package as It seemed so "dark" and it gave off a a creepy energy for me..  When I say that aloud I know I should make it a small part of my card and have lots of white surrounding it like Shari's card.  So when I saw her card it just jumped out at me & I just love it!

Thanks for sharing Shari.
