Hello

What's a girl to do when there is no TV to watch?  She gets creative!!!

I just learned that Tonya & my two favorite little cousins will be stopping by in a few weeks.  They are so cute and lots of fun.  Last summer we got to shop for nail polish while Tonya picked up what she needed!  There's always one who can't decide on what they want even when there are only two.

Hockey Scrapbooking

Hi everyone.  Yesterday, a friend from my church came over to fix a mop I had bought about a month ago that had fallen apart after I tried to remove the plastic & I just couldn't get it put back together.  I didn't feel so bad after Earl left, apparently there was a piece missing!   Most of my morning was spent clearing away the clutter.  I'm so bad about clutter, but I have run out of space & I just need to purge.  I also ran a few errands including a haircut, which feels wonderful!

Today I am catching up on my blogging.  I have a couple of scrapbook pages to share along with a couple of new cards.  Here's my first page.  I love how this turned out, it's very simple to do.  The paper already had the words hockey on it.  I added some matting for my photos and a couple of border stickers down the center of my page.  I took the journaling from the Brahmas website news.
Loved that part.

Have a great weekend!

There's No Thing As Too Much You

Hi everyone.  How was your weekend?  I had such a great day yesterday.  Lots of creating, some housework, dinner at my favorite barbecue restaurant, a stop at the grocery store and back home for more creating!   When my Grandpa Stach died, he asked my Mom to carry on the tradition of putting flowers at the graves of our family so every year my Mom and her sisters would do just that, they also would enjoy a lunch of homemade food at the park.   I talked to my Aunt Linda yesterday and was glad to hear that her, my Aunt Virginia and Elaine were able to decorate the graves again this year.  I wish I could have been there.  Next year, I think I will plan on doing that.

Onto to my card for today.  I wanted a project that used our new Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim so I went to search Pinterest for inspiration.  I ran across a design by Krista Frattin that I really liked so my card is very similar to hers.

Happy Birthday

The sun is shining!  Yeah!  Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.  For some it must be difficult, but please know that some Memorial Day you will be able to lay flowers on your loved ones grave and not sob uncontrollably.  I remember my Mom and grandparents today along with Randy and other friends and family.  I look forward to seeing them all again some day.

I started this card last night with the sketch below and the new DSP Cherry on Top.  It had been a long day and I just wanted to sit, watch TV and relax, but there was nothing I wanted to watch, so I decided to try the sketch challenge.

Cheer Up

Top of the morning to you.  The colors I chose are from a recent color challenge at Create With Connie & Mary, but I didn't get it posted in time before I went out of town.

Gray is probably my favorite color these days,  I wear it often, my purse is gray.  Both sets of my tennis shoes are gray.  I'm turning gray!  haha  You may have noticed that you don't see a lot of green in my projects, when I do use green, I keep it a minimum.  But, if you want more green, just let me know as I am happy to oblige.

A Perfect Line-Up

Good morning everyone!  Loving the new Layered Letters Alphabet stamp set!   My card today showcases the letters stamped in Watercolor Melon on Whisper White.  With Photopolymer Stamps you can line them up on a single Acrylic Block and achieve a perfect line-up for your stamped image. How cool is that?  I've used a circular image from this set with Whisper White ink to create the soft dots on the Pool Party cardstock, like clouds in a blue sky.  I love stamping!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Chocolate & Strawberry

Hope your day stacks up to be one good thing on top of another.

How cute is this?  I should have added a vanilla scoop for a Neapolitan ice cream cone!

I have several more sneak peeks to show you today.  New colors are Cucumber Crush and Tip Top Taupe and a new stamp set called Sprinkles of Life which has an adorable little tree with flowers or leaves. for Spring or Fall.  You can add little birds or apples to your tree, too.  A happy or sad cloud with rain drops.  Sprinkles for cupcakes or ice cream cones.  And that's not all!  There are eight adorable verses for adding to our cards or scrapbooking.  Best of all - a coordinating punch called Tree Builder.
