#HappyBirthday

Hi everyone.  Today's share is another card from my Birthday Bliss Class which was 2 hours of stamping with friends and a lot of fun. 

This was a pretty simple and fast card to make, but I do want to point out one thing to you  The "Yay" balloon was first stamped in Night of Navy onto the card, then we stamped the same image in Bermuda Bay on another piece of Whisper White Cardstock, cut it out and layered it over the top of the Night of Navy balloon.  Can you see the 2 different colors in Yay balloon?  The sentiment was taken from another stamp in this set, but it also had an image with it, so we took our Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker and just colored the sentiment and because it is part of our line of Photopolymer Stamps (clear) you can see exactly where you are stamping it!

Celebrate

I just love the colors in our Birthday Bash DSP (Designer Series Paper).  An oh so Caribbean feel in this oh so cold weather, but Spring will be here soon.  Yay!

I would love to hear your thoughts. 

The image was stamped using Calypso Coral onto the Vellum Cardstock which we then cut out.  We then stamped the same image on Whisper White Cardstock in Crushed Curry and cut just the "Celebrate" portion from the cardstock & adhered it directly over the Calypso Coral "Celebrate" with Dimensionals (foam with double-sided adhesive) to give it a lift up which adds shadows and dimension.

Happy Birthday To You

Welcome to my new class!  This month I wanted to have fun with birthdays and balloons.  I'm planning balloons galore, I can't wait to show you so I'm posting before my classes. 

Here's my first project using the Birthday Bash DSP and coordinating Stamp Set.  One of my friends loves all things Heritage so I thought she would enjoy this adorable bicycle with balloons!  This little bicycle reminds me of little ones riding in parades on their bicycles all decorated with balloons and more, everyone lined up on both sides of the street, everyone having so much fun!

For this card I used the MOJO Monday Sketch 366.
