Sharing in Your Sorrow

I have learned that the husband of a friend of mine has passed away and wanted to let her know that I was thinking of her.  Tess & I go back to my early years at Southwestern Bell.  There were three of us who shared birthdays within days of each other so we would celebrate them together in an evening out.  Always lots of laughs and fun!  We also shared an interest in ballroom dance and were taking lessons to learn how.

Later this afternoon I'll be heading out to my physical therapy appointment, I am looking forward to my 30 minute workout.  I'll stop for my Mocha Almond Concrete at Sheridan's before heading home. Now that is only something an addict would understand!

Thanks for spending a few minutes with me, keep cool.

Chuck

A friend from church has been really sick and that's on top of dealing with cancer, so I wanted to send him a special card.  I wanted to send him a card when he was diagnosed but I was dealing with my own cancer scare at that time.

I hope you like it.

Here's my little tip when making masculine cards.  I always add a touch of me - a little femininity.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cardstock - Cordinations Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Crisp Cantaloupe
Ink - Early Espresso
Punches - Modern Label, Extra Large  Oval

Praying For You

Sometimes it's a good idea to make 2 instead of 1 card.  This was one of them for me.  Because I used 8-1/2" x 11" cardstock cut in half for my card base, I decided to go ahead with 2.  I needed 6 cards total so it saved some time.

It's really hard to lose a loved one.  Call or go see someone you love and spend some time with them.  It could be your last chance.

Cardstock - Soft Sky, Basic Black
Ink - Staz On, Soft Sky
Tools - Scallop Oval, Large Oval Punches, Aquapainters

Sending Thoughts . . .

The verse reads "sending thoughts of love and praying for The Lord to sustain you with bright and restful days."

Beautiful, isn't it?  I love how the stamped image fits inside the embossed frame!

This almost wraps up my sympathy cards.  Thank you for stopping by.  Please come again.  I love having you!

DSP - All Abloom

Cardstock - Whisper White, Lost Lagoon
Tools - Top Note Die, 1-1/4" and 7/8" Scalloped Circle Punches

I'm Praying For You

This may be my last 3x3 card set for Pink Sunday, which is this weekend from 12 to 5pm.  I have so enjoyed making them!

Yesterday was a very unproductive day, but I'm ready to go today, wish I didn't have an appointment at 2 and need to stop at the store before coming home.

Oh well.

Don't Fly Away

I used Island Indigo card stock with Gold Encore ink & Clear embossing powder to achieve this striking card.  The butterflies were stamped on Pool Party card stock with the same ink and powder.

Thanks for stopping by.  If you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or my designs, please let me know.  I am happy to help.
