I just received the sad news that Eileen, Mother-In-Law of my good friend Lisa, has passed away.  I was honored to have spent time with Eileen during her struggles with Alzheimer's.  Eileen was one of the first students to attend The Christ Hospital School of Nursing here in Topeka,  the original Stormont School of Nursing in 1945.  She kept a scrapbook with photos and newspaper clippings of her friends and lots of memories from her time there.  I loved that!

My thoughts and prayers for her family today.

Get Well Wishes

A little springtime to share with you on this very cold morning.  I just love water coloring but you can achieve the same effect with Blender Pens from Stampin' Up and you will love the results!

Tip:  when you use these techniques, first decide where your sunshine is going to hit on your project, then use more color where the shade is & less color (even white space) where your sunlight is hitting.  Isn't it fun to make your own sunlight?  Enjoy.

Just For You

This Although the cards are alike, I chose a different sentiment for each; thank you, thinking of you and get well wishes.

I have so many ideas to use on a 3x3 card, they're almost endless.  Careful. They are addictive.

Don't miss out on all of this fun, call me, we will set up a time & I'll show you how!

Thanks for looking.

A Little Sunshine

Watercoloring is so much fun & it was a perfect medium to use for this cheerful card! Especially when you use Aquapainters, watercolor paper & StazOn Ink. Almost full proof.

Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon & thanks so much for stopping by.

Blessings to each of you.

Craft Fair #3 - Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! Is this little guy not the cutest? I love finding new uses for supplies/tools I already have!

I used the Big Shot & Petite Pocket Die to cut the Pumpkin Pie card stock. The DSP is Ghostly Greetings (R) - I am finally able to let it go. Egads. I took the 2-1/2 Circle Punch to punch out the moon with Daffodil Delight card stock. The bat was made using punches Owl Builder, 1/2" Circle, & Extra-Large Oval. Happy Halloween is from Teeny Tiny Wishes & cut with the Big Shot, Bitty Banners Framelits. I also used the uni-ball Signo Gel Pen. Great for highlighting, faux stitching & writing on dark colored card stock.

Thanks so much for visiting me today!
Enjoy.
