For Chuck and Lisa

A card for Chuck & Lisa, who lost their Mom & Mother-In-Law recently.

If you can look closely at the Hello Honey piece, I used the Postcard Stamp to stamp parts of it to create the background for my pretty butterfly and ribbon and the heart.  I'm not sure that I have seen hearts on sympathy cards but my thought was to show my love for Eileen and for their love of her.

Recipe

Cardstock - Baked Brown Sugar, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon
DSP - Moonlight
Stamps - Postcard and Papillion Potpourri
Pretty Accessories - Lost Lagoon ribbon and Linen Thread
Ink - Versamark and Lost Lagoon 3/8" Stitched Satin

Hi

Today I am playing the PPA211 Color Challenge.  It certainly was a challenge to use only 3 colors today.

My tip for the day is that it is okay to have "empty" space on your projects.  Notice the Whisper White Cardstock does not have any texture, stamping or otherwise.  It achieves a place for your eyes to rest.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cardstock - Whisper White, Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight
DSP - All Abloom
TIEF - Honeycomb
Embosslits - Beautiful Wings
Die - Naturally Serif Alphabet
Ink - Night of Navy
Punch - Elegant Butterfly, Hexagon
Accessories - Basic Gems Rhinestones

Make & Take

For my Make & Take, I wanted to show the scrapbookers the On Film Framelits Die and how fun they look & easy to use!

Basic Black and Whisper White.  So sharp and striking.  I highlighted the center butterfly with Lost Lagoon and a Blender Pen.

I hope you find something today that will awaken your creativity and find the joy in doing so that I find.

Blessings

Asian Artistry For Deanna

Deanna's frame art. One of her favorite colors is purple & she has some Asian artwork so I hoped she would like this.

I did a search on Pinterest for Asian art and found a beautiful picture with these colors.  To  achieve the effect of the picture, I used watercoloring for the flower images here.  For my third color I used a gold metallic which is so trendy right now.

I feel like an artist!

As always, thanks for stopping by.

Don't Fly Away

I used Island Indigo card stock with Gold Encore ink & Clear embossing powder to achieve this striking card.  The butterflies were stamped on Pool Party card stock with the same ink and powder.

Thanks for stopping by.  If you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or my designs, please let me know.  I am happy to help.

Delicate Details

Today's project is using the MOJO Monday Sketch 285. A couple of thoughts on my design. I really like the Delicate Details Lace Tape on here. It's subtle but still gives the card a big impact.

Second, the layered pieces were not working for me until I added Dimensionals to them. I love it now! I think I use Dimensionals on almost every design.

I hope that you too will include them in your beautiful creations.

Happy Stampin'
