Hooray For Today

Hi everyone.  Did you have a good weekend?  I hope so.  Saturday was our all-day stamping event at Joy's house.  We had so much fun.  We had 2 make and takes in the morning and again in the afternoon, so I got to play with new stamps and designs and a pretty card to take home.  Lunch was a taco bar that was sooo good.  After our afternoon make and takes, we played several Minute to Win It games.  I've listed them below.  Oh my gosh, these were hysterical!

Face the cookie - place a cookie on a player’s forehead, using only your facial muscles, move the cookie to your mouth.  (mine kept falling off my face)

Pedometers on headbands - 1 minute to rack up as many steps as you can by shaking your head  (each person looked weirder and funnier than the last one - too funny)

The marshmallow game - how many marshmallows can you pick up with chopsticks?

Sorting Skittles by color - how many can you do in 1 minute?  (this was our last game and Sandy was one of our last players.  Did I mention she is competitive?  Well she started taking handfuls of Skittles instead of a single color hoping she could get enough of one color at the end to win.)

Have some fun at home and play one of these, or all of them,  with your friends/family.

Today's card was super fun to make using red, white and blue for the 4th of July!

Thanks to Sylvia Nelson for sharing her design.

Cheer Up

Top of the morning to you.  The colors I chose are from a recent color challenge at Create With Connie & Mary, but I didn't get it posted in time before I went out of town.

Gray is probably my favorite color these days,  I wear it often, my purse is gray.  Both sets of my tennis shoes are gray.  I'm turning gray!  haha  You may have noticed that you don't see a lot of green in my projects, when I do use green, I keep it a minimum.  But, if you want more green, just let me know as I am happy to oblige.

Donation For The Cause

Another finished project!  Woo hoo.  This is a little box I made to hold 4 3x3 cards and envelopes for my donation to Pink Sunday.  Here I am showing the box closed, then open to see what's inside, and finally the cards and matching envelope, both the front and back.

Enjoy!
