So Sweet of You

Hi!  It is 108 degrees here with the heat index.  I hope you are inside with the air conditioning stamping or scrapbooking.  It's just too hot to be outside.  I had a quiet day yesterday and very little was accomplished I'm sad to say.  It was, however, a perfect day for some cold, refreshing watermelon.  Alas, I did not have any so I created my own.  Isn't it adorable?

Thanks to Erica B Cerwin for sharing her designs.

So Sweet of You

This is our second project from my Everything Envelopes class.  The card base is using Whisper White Cardstock and covered with Stacked With Love DSP and Washi Tape.  I'm loving the Washi Tape!   The coolest tool ever, the Envelope Punch Board, makes it super easy to make an adorable file folder corner and rounding the corners at the top of my card.

If you would like personal help with yours, or any other SU tool, please let me know as I would be glad to help.

For You

A new sketch at CCMC.  Yay!  I love the angles.  They shouted DSP Moonlight to me because of the many geometrical designs in it.

I couldn't resist putting the little flower down in the corner.

For the rest of my weekend I plan to do some light housekeeping, make a rhubarb crisp & some scrapbooking.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone & thanks for stopping by.

No. 1

Good afternoon everyone.  It's 86 degrees out with lots of sunshine.  Hope you are having wonderful weather where you are.

Last night was my weight loss support group at church.  We shared lots of information along with our lesson in Bod4God.  A great book to read combining both journeys, with God and with weight loss.

Yesterday I tried a new marinade for grilled chicken that I will share with you tomorrow.

Today's card uses a new In-Color!

Colors - Lost Lagoon, Crumb Cake & Very Vanilla

TIEF - Vintage Wallpaper

Accessories - Lost Lagoon Ribbon, DSP Beau Chateau, Beau Chateau Side Notes

Punch - 1-3/8" Scalloped Circle Punch

This is a MOJO Monday sketch #347.

Thanks for stopping by.

So Sweet of You

Today's card is a CCMC304, a color challenge by the Create With Connie & Mary team.

I recently found a card on Pinterest by Cheryl Holtman.  I loved that her colors were used in her Tasteful Trip Die.

I happened to need the die for another project I'm working on so it gave me the motivation to go to my work room (that indicates I work there doesn't it?  Hmm, technically I guess I do.  I make a mess getting supplies that are stored there, and some time later I put them away)

Back to my card, the colors are Soft Sky, Sahara Sand, Basic Gray and a touch of Groovy Guava.  The DSP is Afternoon Tea.  Accessories and tools were Tea Lace Doily, Apothecary Accents Dies & Beautiful Wings Embosslits.

The stamped image is from Hello There.

Thanks for coming!

For You

I had just found a color combo by Stampin' Up! on Pinterest that I loved so went to the Create with Connie &  Mary site to find a sketch.  They have a new one & I knew it would work with the stamp set  I wanted to use.  It is a new hostess stamp set that will be available soon called Hello There.  Love the fonts used!

I carried a little basket with me to carry the stamps, inks & DSP that had the colors I wanted to use represented in them & sat down to create!

Now that I'm done, I've put everything back in the basket to be returned to its proper home.  Will I do it today?  Stay tuned!

Colors are Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White & Brushed Silver.

Blessings to each of you.
