Super Quick Card

First, this is a color combo outside of my box, but I decided to go with it.  I like it!  This card was super quick as it was made with mostly punches.

Happy Birthday Lisa

Lisa's birthday is also today.  Friday I was at her house making a rag quilt purse using our Square Scallop Die, which I hope to show you soon, so I was showing her my recently made cards and she really liked this one, so I knew then that I would use if for her birthay card.  I have to say I was surprised she liked it as much as she did.  It didn't seem her style, just goes to show you we don't know our friends and family as much as we think we do.

Quinn Turns 16!

It's hard to believe he is 16 today. I wish I could celebrate with the family but it is just not meant to be.

This was a real challenge for me to create because I didn't have any stamps that I thought would work for a 16 year old young man.  I found the paper in my stash from Karen Foster Design, then selected Bordering Blue for the card base.  I had decided to use the Jock Talk stickers from State of Mine.  The DSP is from Urban Oasis.
